Sing a song of summer,
A heart full of joy;
No matter what the weather,
I’ve decided to enjoy.
Though circumstance assault me
Frustrations can’t endure;
God will help me overcome,
For gratitude’s the cure.
I’ll surely pass this test,
Away with frown and tears;
Determination does its job
so faith can calm my fears.
Yes, summer brings its challenge
Of heat and storm and rain;
I’ll celebrate God’s blessing,
And sing His praise again!
