I’m in such a hurry now —
Such a stressful day!
Too busy to read God’s Word,
Too busy to pray.
Later . . . I will meditate,
Close my eyes, then snooze;
Meanwhile, my computer calls,
I must read the news.
But . . . I do remember . . .
I remember bedtime prayer
when I was a kid;
I read my Bible, then prayed,
that was what I did.
Can I find the LORD today?
See priorities?
Confess, talking from my heart?
He’s the one I’ll please.
This is my decision now —
What I need to do;
I will put Him first today,
For now, goodbye to you.
