Take a New Look at Faith

Find the LORD by opening your heart,

    Accept the LORD by asking Him into your life,

        Invite the LORD to show you what He wants you to do, 

            Trust the LORD as you turn from your sins,

                Hear the LORD as you read His Word.

Ten Good Reasons NOT to Forgive Someone

      So, how is life treating you these days?  Everyone acts nice, talks nice?  When you’re on the verge of a misunderstanding the other person is kind and courteous?  Other people respect your opinions and overlook your few, insignificant flaws? 

 No?  There are a few thorns in your path of life?  You feel irritated, just thinking of it now? 

Take a look at one person who had ten good reasons NOT to forgive someone.   Try to put yourself into this person’s situation; imagine how he must have felt and how he must have reacted. 

Confidence? Right? Right!

“Let me be in the right place, at the right time,

and say the right words to the right person.”

This is a personal conversation with my Maker

that removes fear, doubt, anger, confusion.

Get It? Got It. Good!

Get it?   Someone is concerned enough to ask me,

So I take a look and think, considerably.

Got it.    What a relief then to realize

That information I could conceptualize.

Good!    Someone cared and that’s encouraged me,

A lesson learned, so I responded thoughtfully.

Is there no end to new things to learn and do?

What a Relief! It's "None of My Business"!

        The evening news on TV was especially bad. A new outbreak of violence overseas, a severe storm on the east coast, a horrible accident on the Interstate — and that was just for starters.  I sat in the blue velvet recliner in the living room, taking in all the gory details of an ordinary day out there in the world.  

     Actually, it happens every single day, with only minor changes. Murder, crime, disaster, deception. The whole world is hurting; the whole world is bent on evil and destruction.  

     For some reason last night the events seemed overwhelming, so I left the room —as if that could stem the tide of pain and fear and disgust that enveloped my heart.

     “Lord,” I began to pray, “I hate to tell you this, but things are worse than yesterday.”

Made Any Discoveries?

Considered any new evidence? 
Recognized your determination? 
Challenged to examine your logic? 
Noticed some areas of uncertainties? 
Appreciated a new view of opportunities? 
Remembered that life’s struggles have made you stronger? 
Felt a lack of peace of mind, but will address that issue soon? 
Reminded yourself to show enthusiasm about learning? 
Decided to take a new look at beliefs of life and death? 
Talked to your Creator and received His love?
