It’s a special day on the calendar
to recognize men and women who serve.
They demonstrate their dedication
and they work with brains and nerve.
So, fly the flag of the USA,
speak up to the people you know.
We each can reach out to others,
patriotism and love we can show.
The future holds much uncertainty,
we always need help from others;
This is a reminder to us here —
pray every day for one another.
We appreciate our many blessings !
Life means making decisions each day.
Choose to open the Bible and read;
See what your Maker has to say.
Stand up for what’s good and true !
Tell what Armed Forces Day means to you.
