What does today look like to you?
Is today golden or is it blue?
Today is the oldest you’ve ever been!
Here’s what I’d like to whisper in your ear:
Today is also the youngest you can still be;
Might as well thank God that you’re still here.
Open your heart to Him in honest prayer,
Lay aside any confusion or fear;
Own up to your weakness, sins, and fussing mouth,
Appreciate God’s love, and draw near.
Realize today’s time is flying by!
Before you know it your last day is here;
Don’t leave without getting right with God,
His message in the Bible is quite clear!
So, if today started out to be blue
Today can change to golden for you!
