On Veterans Day we pray for peace;
we know we need the LORD's blessing.
Let each of us speak honestly to our Maker right now.
Pray protection for the veterans and those in the military services.
Pray for healing for the wounded.
Pray for repentance for any of us holding on to sin.
Pray for revival in our churches.
Pray for awakening to spiritual values for our world leaders.
Then, let us ask for wisdom for ourselves
in how we are to live, what we are to do;
open God's Word and see His invitation.
Right now we have the gift of life,
soon, death comes to all.
Jesus is the only one who died for our sins and arose.
The time to receive the LORD is now.
Let today bring that wonderful, astounding, amazing blessing
of forgiveness, confidence, joy, and peace.
We pray for each of you.
