Consider the old,
Plan now for the new;
Challenges are ahead
Soon coming to you.
What needs to be fixed?
What can be rearranged?
What has to be learned?
What has to be changed?
Am I missing something?
Or neglected to do?
How can I improve,
Not just struggle through?
Time keeps passing on,
“Now” doesn’t stay the same;
I can do better,
(familiar refrain)!
There’s lots to be done!
I’ll start out today;
The LORD’s helping me,
He’ll show me the way.
Serious problems
In the Bible foretold
The hearts of many
Are confused and cold
Right now is the time
To be humble and pray;
Jesus comes back soon
And maybe today!
